We know that you have these questions lingering your brain, so just let's just straighten things up!

Q: What is ISC Unpar 2013?
A: It is the first International Student Conference held by Parahyangan Catholic University, (or Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, Unpar in short) partnering with Unpar Student Presidential Body and Unpar Civil Engineering Students Association. The big theme is Global Citizenship. The sub-themes are: Global Terrorism and Water and Environmental Sustainability. 

Q: So there are two programs?
A: Yes, the lectures and workshops will be conducted separately, but all participants from both programs will do the cultural activities together.

Q: Can I get more details?
A: Sure, you can download the Project Description right away. There will be information about the background, rundown, applications, and also the organizing committee.

Q: Is this free?
A: Yes! However we do not cover applicants’ transportation expenses to and from Indonesia. 

Q: Who are the participants?
A: The conference will involve more than 100 participants, including 40 Unpar students. 

Q: How can I apply?

Q: Who are the international participants?
A: Students coming from outside Indonesia. 

Q: Who are local participants?
A: Unpar students.

Q: So this conference is not open for other university students in Indonesia?
A: Unfortunately, this year we will only involve Unpar students. But we can actually scale up and invite other university students in Indonesia later on. 

Q: I am a master student, am I eligible?
A: As long as you are enrolling in an university, you are still able to join this conference.

Q: What are the cultural events?
A: Hover your mouse to the Activities bar on this website. 

Q: Where is the social night/party? I didn't see it on the rundown.
A: Every night, all participants will have free time. Therefore we allow participants to actually have a social night/party on their own. However, our local participants will always assist the international participants to have the night trip around Bandung and conduct the social party.

Q: What will I get from this conference?
A: Priceless experience. And an exotic trip in Indonesia as well.

Sign Yourself Up!


The International Student Conference 2013 is  the first international conference held by UNPAR International Office and Cooperation, partnering with UNPAR Student Presidential Body and UNPAR Civil Engineering Student Association. UNPAR will work on this conference in order to be held annualy, in accordance with its importance within international society.  

In this conference, more than 100 participants (40 UNPAR students and 70 international delegates) from all over the world’s leading universities in South East Asia and the rest of the countries are invited to meet and discuss their roles as global citizens.

Not only workshops and lectures, participants will also enjoy the experience of cultural tour and activities in Bandung and Jakarta, encouraging them to also explore more and share their own cultures to the others.

This conference will be divided into two programs, i.e. Global Terrorism and Water and Environmental Sustainability.
International students will be provided with an accommodation (hotel) throughout the duration of the program. Most meals and transportation from and to the airport as well as between the hotel and the campus will be provided. International students would need to find their own funding for airfare and other living costs (some universities may be willing to sponsor your trip – get in touch with your international office)
